What happens if the weather’s bad?Safety first. If the weather’s not cooperating, we’ll either reschedule or offer you a full refund, no games. We watch the forecast closely, but offshore weather can be weird, so I’ll always make the call with your safety in mind.

How far offshore do we go?Depends on the trip you book: Nearshore: 5–20 miles out Offshore: 25–50 miles Gulfstream: 60+ miles (that’s where the big boys live)

Can beginners or kids go on your charters?Absolutely. I take out first-timers, families, and serious anglers all the time. I’ll walk you through everything and make sure you're having a blast. No fishing ego required, we’re out here to have fun and catch fish.

What kinds of fish can we catch on your Myrtle Beach charters?We’re fishing the Atlantic, you’ve got options. On our nearshore and offshore trips, we commonly catch Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper, King Mackerel, Black Seabass, Flounder, and sometimes even Sharks. Depends on the season and your trip length.

Do I need a fishing license to go on a charter in South Carolina?Nope, I’ve got you covered. All of our charters are fully licensed, and your fishing license is included in the trip. You just bring yourself, a good attitude, and maybe a sandwich or snacks.

What should I bring on my Myrtle Beach fishing trip?Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, drinks (no glass), and whatever snacks keep you happy. Dress in layers, mornings offshore can be chilly even in summer. Oh, and bring a small cooler if you want to take home your catch. I’ll filet it for you.

How long are the charters, and what’s the best trip to book?We offer 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12-hour trips. The longer you go, the more fish you find. The 12-hour Gulfstream trip is the real deal, Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, maybe even Billfish. If you're just getting your feet wet, start with a 6 or 8-hour nearshore trip.

Where do your charters depart from?We launch from Murrells Inlet, just south of Myrtle Beach. Since there are no public boat ramps in Myrtle Beach proper, we operate out of three launch locations depending on the boat and trip time. 32' Boat Charters – Crazy Sister Marina Address: 4123 US-17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC All full-day offshore and Gulfstream charters on the 32’ boat meet at Crazy Sister Marina. Upon arrival, call (704) 773-2513, and I’ll come meet you. Parking: Gravel lot to the left of Wicked Tuna Restaurant Directions: Take US-17 Business South to Murrells Inlet Turn into Wicked Tuna, park in gravel lot Walk left of Wicked Tuna toward the waterfront seating area 26' Boat AM Charters – Murrell's Inlet Outpost Address: 3525 US-17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC Morning nearshore and shorter offshore trips on the 26’ boat meet at Murrells Inlet Outpost. We’ll load your gear, then head down the road to the public launch. Parking is available across from the boat landing.
